Sixshot Bits: Brief News On Akon, Rock & Crucial Conflict

Akon's minor endangerment and second degree harassment case was reportedly adjourned until March 5th by a Fishkill judge today (January 16)
As previously reported, during a concert at Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill in June 2007, a 15 year old male threw an object at Akon while he was onstage and the singer asked the crowd to point him out.
A security guard would drag the teenager to the stage and Akon would pick him up and throw him back into the crowd, striking a woman in the audience.
According to The MidHudson News, Akon did not show for the hearing and his lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, had no comment when contacted.
Akon has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

SUDDEN RETURN

After a 9 year hiatus, Chicago rap crew Crucial Conflict will finally be releasing their their third album Planet Crucon on January 29th.
The four man collective, comprised of Coldhard, Wildstyle, Kilo and Never,  gained national attention in the mid 90's with their debut The Final Tic.  Their last release was Good Side, Bad Side in 1998.
?The new album reflects a state of mind, not a place?we're gonna make Chicago proud because this album represents unity,? Coldhard said via a statement.  ? It's a new and improved Crucial Conflict?  We weren't on our time; we were on God's time.  Now it's time to give the people what they were missing.?
Planet Crucon will feature appearances from Danny Boy and funk legend George Clinton.
