CLASH OF THE TITANS
Kanye West versus 50 Cent in a presidential debate about who has the best album?
During an apperance on BET's 106 & Park on Friday , Fiddy accepted an offer from hosts Terrance J. and Rocsi to engage Kanye West in a presidential style "debate" to decide who has the best album before both their projects hit shelves on September 11.
"I accept the challenge," 50 Cent said. "Kanye, he's not going to want to show up. Just don't be asking me if I am a conscious rapper. I know exactly what I am saying - so I am conscious."
STICKY NUPTIALS
Usher and hair stylist Tameka Foster finally tied the knot a week after the R&B star canceled their big Hamptons wedding - but his mother sat out the nuptials.
Contrary to earlier reports, a family friend told The New York Daily News that Jonetta Patton, Usher's mom and former manager, "absolutely did not attend" Friday's scaled-back wedding held in the Atlanta office of Usher's attorney.
The stop-and-start trip down the aisle shocked friends of the couple and sparked several bogus reports, including weekend postings by cybergossips who claimed Patton also took her own wedding vows during the same service.
The source confirmed that Usher, 28, and the bride, 37, who is four months pregnant, were the only ones to say "I do."
The pop prince, aka Usher Raymond 4th, flew home to his mom after getting cold feet the morning of his July 28 wedding that was to be held at a Sagaponack
