Sixshot Bits: Brief News On 50 Cent, Diddy, B.G., Team Blackout & Trel Mack

50 Cent is slated to drop his fourth solo album this year titled Before I Self Destruct.
According to Billboard, the album will be the rapper's final effort on his current deal with  Interscope Records.
Also this year, 50 will be dropping a book titled The 50 Laws of Power which will be the rapper's spin of Robert Greene's The 48 Laws of Power.
Greene will co-author 50 Laws of Power with 50 Cent.
 
LIGHTS OUT
Rap trio Team Blackout, which  is comprised of Reverend Run's son Jojo , Zach and Reggie, will be releasing their debut album titled Lights Out on August 19th via Latchkey Recordings.
The first single off the album is "Billion Dollar Boyfriend" which is  produced by  Rockwilder and Chris & Teeb. [Listen to "Billion Dollar Boyfriend"]
Team Blackout will be apperaing on the new season of MTV's Run's House which begins July 16th.
 
SECOND TIME AROUND
New Orleans rapper B.G. & his group The Chopper City Boyz will be releasing their second compilation titled Life In Concrete Jungle on August 26th.
The album will feature apperances from Lady Dolla, C-Murder, Alfamega, Blood Raw, Rocko, Hurricane Chris and Skip, among others.
 
RECOGNITION
Sean "Diddy" Combs will be honored with the first Reginald F. Lewis Award on Sunday (July 6) . According to Billboard, the award will commemorate Lewis' legacy as the first African-American billionaire.
“Mr. Combs, like my husband, came from humble beginnings and has become internationally successful,.” said Loida Lewis, the wife of the late  Reginald Lewis. “My husband was the Jackie Robinson of finance, he broke the ceiling. Now he's inspiration to contemporary black business men and this event will bring awareness to his legacy.”
 
TREL TIME
Philly rapper Trel Mack will be releasing his new mixtape "The New Dynasty" August 13th. The mixtape already has been been gaining anticipation for the street single "No Problem" featuring Donny Goines, Clap Cognac, Fred Knuxx, and MarVo.Other features on the mixtape include Wordsmith, Rico Levant and Crystyle V. Graye.
“It really sounds like an album as most of music is quality and single worthy, it showcasing my talent as an artist on a new level,” said Trel via a statement.
